Academic Career

After graduating from Cambridge, Sen taught at the University of Delhi and the London School of Economics. In 1972, he became the first Master of Trinity College, Cambridge. Sen has held numerous other prestigious positions, including the Ford Foundation Professor of Economics at Harvard University and the Lamont University Professor at Columbia University.
